“This spoken word piece was born out of a time of confusion for me. Following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, I just felt like I needed something to help me better understand and process what had been going on. The video was put together by a friend of mine and I feel like it does very well to show that, although racial differences can sometimes divide us, ultimately God does call us to love one another despite this. That’s why I feel that the passage in 1 John 4:19-21 is very important.”
